    historic charm
    spacious layout
    beautiful garden
    cold water
    dated decor
    slow service

I absolutely loved the historic charm of Tinakilly Country House. The four-poster bed in my room was stunning and provided a cozy feel. The spacious layout made it easy to relax. The views from my top window were breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful garden. I appreciated the friendly staff. they were attentive and went out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Breakfast offered a variety of options, and the freshly made dishes were delightful. However, I faced a frustrating issue with the cold water in my bathroom. The cold tap was dry, and I had to deal with just scalding hot water. It was uncomfortable, especially when I wanted a cool shower after a long day. The dining experience could also use a boost. the atmosphere felt plain and lacked warmth, and the service was a bit slow during meals. The decor in some areas felt dated and could use a refresh. While I loved the ambiance, I think a few updates could enhance the overall experience.

    beautiful gardens
    charming rooms
    poor service
    unwelcoming atmosphere
    lack of hospitality

The enchanting setting and stunning gardens truly stood out during the stay, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxing walks. However, the overall experience was marred by highly unprofessional service. staff insisted that public areas were solely for event guests, leaving us feeling unwelcome. While the rooms are charming, the lack of hospitality made it hard to enjoy everything this venue has to offer.

    spacious accommodations

    beautiful gardens
    slow dining service
    plain dining area
    lack of attention

The stay featured spacious accommodations with a charming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. However, the dining experience could use improvement as service was slow and lacked attention to details. While the gardens were beautiful and well-maintained, the dining area felt a bit plain and missing the cozy ambiance one might expect.

    spacious room

    antique furniture
    musty smell
    uncomfortable bed

The room was super spacious with a beautiful four-poster bed. The antique furniture added a nice charm, and the view from the window was lovely. It felt warm and inviting overall. However, it did have a slight musty smell, and the bed could've been a bit more comfortable. But still, the unique ambiance really stood out.

Absolutely loved our stay! The stunning sea views from our Junior Suite were breathtaking, and we enjoyed leisurely strolls in the vibrant rose gardens. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Stacey at the reception who made us feel right at home, going above and beyond.

My kids wished for a more extensive play area.
